It has been quite a while. Marina and I have gone through meeting several more doctors, getting an understanding bio-chemo therapy and such. Unfortunately, the brain hasn't stabilized (more new metastases), so the lung met has had to patiently wait.

Hi everybody,
This site was originally established for the delight of spreading wedding information and photos (it's still there, too), but recent medical discoveries are diverting it (and our) attention to getting people up to date and as at ease as we are. I promise to stop worrying people needlessly as quickly as possible, and get back to my usual witty banter (the polite term for it).
In the site you can find a lot of medical information- if you find more links, please forward them to me for posting. I've also tried to include a little humor on the site- hopefully well received (one radio-oncology resident was very positive on the effects of dark humor, and you don't want to go against the radio-oncologists...or anybody that might point 200 lasers at you).
While the initial shock of seeing a brain tumor on an MRI is daunting, since then we've been doubled back at the outpouring of compassionate responses and support. Truly, Marina and I had hardly an appreciation for the good people we managed to surround ourselves with over the years- both in the US and Canada. For this we will be ever amazed and greatful.
Let me know if you have any tips for the site- I don't claim any competency in such things. I will try to keep it up to date.
